Treatment of Uterine Sarcoma in Uterine Leiomyosarcoma
Clinical scenario
Uterine leiomyosarcoma (uLMS) is the main subgroup of uterine sarcomas. This protocol addresses the management of patients with uLMS presenting with metastatic disease who are being considered for first-line systemic treatment.
First-line approach (partial overview)
In the metastatic setting, systemic therapy is the standard treatment. First-line options include doxorubicin-based combinations and other chemotherapy regimens; the choice between multi-agent and single-agent approaches depends on individual clinical circumstances. The complete regimen selection, dosing, and sequencing are detailed in the full protocol.
