Treatment of Uterine Sarcoma in High-Grade Uterine Adenosarcoma with Sarcomatous Overgrowth

Clinical Scenario

This protocol applies to uterine sarcoma presenting as high-grade uterine adenosarcoma with sarcomatous overgrowth — a histological variant in which high-grade sarcomatous elements predominate. Because of this aggressive biology, management follows the same principles applied to other high-grade uterine sarcomas.

First-Line Approach (Recurrent / Metastatic)

In the recurrent or metastatic setting, first-line systemic chemotherapy is indicated. The specific regimen selected depends on individual patient factors, including which agents can be safely administered — the protocol defines distinct options for different patient profiles. Full regimen details, sequencing, and criteria are available in the structured protocol.
