Urethral Stricture in Males with Obliterative or Treatment-Refractory Bladder Neck Stenosis

Clinical Scenario

This protocol addresses male patients with urethral stricture disease in whom obliterative bladder neck stenosis (BNS) or treatment-refractory bladder neck stenosis is present. Standard endoluminal approaches are not indicated in this setting.

Key Consideration

In cases of complete obliteration of the bladder neck, or where bladder neck stenosis has not responded to prior treatment, endoluminal intervention is contraindicated. A dedicated surgical pathway is required.

Approach

Management involves surgical reconstruction of the bladder neck. The specific technique, indications for each option, and procedural details are covered in the complete structured protocol.
