Treatment of Trichinellosis During Pregnancy and in Children

Trichinellosis in pregnant women and pediatric patients is a clinical situation where the standard anthelmintic selection must be specifically considered for the patient population involved.

This protocol is for trichinellosis occurring in children or in pregnant women — populations for which a distinct anthelmintic approach has been proposed.

An anthelmintic agent has been proposed for use in these populations. The complete therapeutic approach — including the full regimen and its application — is available in the structured protocol.
