This protocol covers patients with renal cell carcinoma staged cT3–T4, with regional nodal status cN0-1 and no distant metastases (cM0) — a locally advanced presentation. The patient is medically fit for surgery and disease is considered resectable at clinical staging.
Patients with cT3–T4 cN0-1 cM0 RCC who are suitable candidates for surgical intervention with resectable disease.
The primary intervention at this stage is surgical, with structured procedural considerations that vary depending on the anatomical extent of disease involvement and local findings at the time of surgery. Complete procedural guidance — including management of nodal disease and adrenal assessment — is in the full structured protocol.
