Tratamento da Leucoplasia Pilosa Oral: Protocolo Tópico para Lesões na Borda Lateral da Língua
A leucoplasia pilosa oral (LPO) apresenta-se como uma placa branca na borda lateral da língua. Este protocolo aborda o manejo tópico estruturado da LPO direcionado ao sítio primário da lesão, com o tratamento continuado até a confirmação da resolução clínica.
Abordagem Terapêutica
O manejo envolve um protocolo tópico aplicado diretamente na mucosa da borda lateral da língua no sítio da lesão. Múltiplas opções tópicas baseadas em evidências estão disponíveis — a seleção específica do protocolo, o método de aplicação e o agendamento estão descritos no regime completo.
Objetivo Clínico
O sucesso do tratamento é definido como a cura clínica da LPO — a placa branca não é mais visível em sua localização primária na borda lateral da língua. Aproximadamente metade dos pacientes atinge este desfecho dentro de 7 a 8 semanas após o início do protocolo tópico.
