Tratamento da Infecção Aguda pelo HIV: Terapia Antirretroviral Imediata
A infecção aguda pelo HIV requer ação clínica imediata no momento do diagnóstico — inclusive quando o diagnóstico é estabelecido por teste de HIV RNA antes que a confirmação sorológica possa ser obtida.
Abordagem Terapêutica
Recomenda-se o início imediato da terapia antirretroviral (TARV) — idealmente no mesmo dia do diagnóstico — sem aguardar a confirmação sorológica. As opções preferenciais incluem regimes específicos de combinação em dose fixa; alternativas também são definidas no protocolo.

Objetivos do Tratamento
O objetivo primário é a supressão do HIV RNA plasmático a níveis abaixo do detectável. A resposta à terapia é avaliada com um teste de carga viral 4 semanas após o início da TARV.

- TAF/FTC/BIC is available as a single-tablet formulation, taken once daily.
