Treatment of Primary Breast Lymphoma in Hodgkin's Lymphoma Pathological Type, Stage IE or IIE
Clinical scenario
Hodgkin's lymphoma type
This protocol applies to patients with primary breast lymphoma whose pathological subtype is Hodgkin's lymphoma, presenting at stage IE or IIE — disease confined to the breast with or without limited regional nodal involvement.
Treatment approach (partial overview)
Initial management involves systematic chemotherapy with the ABVD regimen, combined with radiotherapy and limited surgical intervention to obtain a pathological diagnosis. The complete treatment sequence, decision criteria, and all parameters are available in the full protocol.

- All patients in this study received systematic chemotherapy after diagnosis; the protocols included the ABVD regimen (comprising doxorubicin, bleomycin, vinblastine, and dacarbazine) (4.5%) for Hodgkin's lymphoma and the CHOP (79.1%) or E-CHOP (16.4%) regimen for non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.
- Multiple treatment approaches, including anthracycline-containing chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and limited surgery, are recommended for the initial treatment of patients with PBL.
