Treatment of Post COVID-19 Condition (Long COVID) with Diagnosed Blood Clot (Thrombosis)

This protocol addresses patients with ongoing post-COVID-19 condition (long COVID) in whom a blood clot — thrombosis — has been diagnosed. The co-occurrence of persistent post-COVID symptoms and confirmed thrombosis defines a specific management situation requiring targeted intervention.

Identified condition: Long COVID with a confirmed diagnosis of blood clot (thrombosis). The presence of thrombosis in this setting distinguishes this case and guides the therapeutic direction.

When a blood clot is confirmed, management involves a class of blood-modifying agents — either anticoagulant or antiplatelet therapy — selected according to established clinical guidelines.

The complete regimen, including agent selection, sequencing, and monitoring targets, is available in the full structured protocol.

However, if a blood clot is diagnosed, treatment with anticoagulants or antiplatelet drugs is recommended according to the relevant guidelines (A, I).
