Penile carcinoma in situ — also known as penile intraepithelial neoplasia (PeIN) — is non-invasive squamous neoplasia confined to the penile epithelium. Treatment selection depends on the extent and location of residual disease, and structured first-line protocols exist to guide management.
For residual PeIN, the protocol covers the use of either a topical agent or an ablative procedural option — with specific selection criteria and conditions outlined in the full regimen.
