This protocol addresses Paget's disease of the breast presenting alongside a palpable breast lump with confirmed underlying ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS).
The patient presents with Paget's disease of the breast and an associated palpable mass. Imaging identifies a solitary retroareolar lump, and biopsy confirms low-grade ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS) of the underlying breast tissue alongside Paget's disease of the nipple-areolar complex.
Management in this setting involves a surgical approach — the complete treatment algorithm and specific indications are detailed in the full protocol.

In other scenario there was an associated, solitary lump, size 2.5 cm × 2.0 cm, found on imaging in retroareolar region of the same breast
Core needle biopsy of the lump was s/o low grade DCIS and full thickness biopsy of NAC revealed Pagets' disease
Mastectomy should be reserved for the few occasions, when relapse occurs.
