Treatment of Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the Nasal Cavity — Stage III or Stage IV
Clinical Scenario
This protocol applies to patients with squamous cell carcinoma of the nasal cavity presenting at advanced stage. Stage III encompasses small and moderately advanced lesions, while stage IV represents advanced locoregional disease — both representing a clinically significant therapeutic challenge.
Treatment Approach
Management at these stages involves surgical and/or radiotherapeutic interventions selected based on tumour response. When one modality does not achieve disease control, an escalated surgical approach becomes the treatment of choice — and vice versa.Full regimen details, sequencing, and decision criteria available in the complete protocol.
