Sinonasal carcinoma may recur at the original site or in the regional lymph nodes after initial management. The approach at recurrence depends on whether further surgical intervention is feasible.
Clinical scenario: Local and/or regional recurrence of sinonasal carcinoma — cancer that has returned at or near the primary site, or in regional nodes, following prior treatment.
Surgery is the primary consideration at recurrence, particularly when it enables subsequent local treatment. When surgery is not feasible, a reirradiation-based strategy using advanced delivery techniques may be an option — the full protocol defines the specific indications and approach.
