This protocol addresses patients with sinonasal carcinoma who develop local and/or regional recurrence following prior treatment — a presentation that requires careful reassessment of resectability and options for further locoregional management.
Local and/or regional recurrence of sinonasal carcinoma represents a distinct clinical challenge. The feasibility of surgery and whether further radiation can be delivered post-operatively are central considerations in shaping the treatment approach.
For eligible patients, a surgical approach may be considered when the recurrence is resectable. The role of post-operative locoregional treatment is a key factor in this decision — the complete structured regimen, including full criteria and sequencing, is available below.
