Carcinoma of the nasal vestibule represents a specific and relatively uncommon form of nasal cavity cancer. Its anatomical location and biological behavior mean that clinical management follows a distinct, response-guided approach.
Clinical scenario: Carcinoma arising in the nasal vestibule — a less common subtype among nasal cavity and sinonasal malignancies. Treatment selection depends directly on how the disease responds to the primary modality chosen.
Tumors of the ethmoid sinuses, nasal vestibule, and nasal cavity are less common, and tumors of the sphenoid and frontal sinuses are rare.
For disease that does not respond to radiation therapy, surgery.
For disease that does not respond to surgery, radiation therapy or a combination of surgery and radiation therapy.
