First-Line Conservative Treatment for Morton Neuroma
Morton neuroma produces forefoot pain that can interfere with walking and daily activity. The primary aim of initial management is to relieve pressure on the neuroma and reduce symptoms — without surgery.
Clinical Goal
Relief of pressure on the neuroma and improvement of forefoot pain symptoms.
Treatment Approach
First-line care centres on non-operative conservative measures — including patient education, footwear guidance, and a purpose-built orthotic approach to redistribute loading across the forefoot. The complete structured regimen continues beyond this overview →
