What Is the Treatment of Medial Medullary Syndrome?

Medial medullary syndrome is an ischaemic brainstem infarction involving the medial medulla oblongata. The acute presentation requires prompt, evidence-based intervention to limit neurological injury and guide recovery.

First-line management is initiated orally in the acute post-stroke period. The protocol specifies which agent to use, the appropriate starting dose, and the critical administration window after onset.

Full dosing details, agent selection, and administration timing are in the complete structured regimen.
