Treatment of Advanced or Metastatic Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer with EGFR S768I, L861Q, and/or G719X Mutation
This protocol covers the treatment of patients with advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) who carry one or more of the specific EGFR mutations: S768I, L861Q, and/or G719X.
EGFR S768I, L861Q, and G719X are less common EGFR mutations, collectively representing approximately 10% of EGFR mutations observed in patients with NSCLC. Identifying these variants is essential for directing appropriate treatment selection.
For patients with disease progression, the protocol identifies distinct treatment options depending on tumour histology — including a specific systemic therapy option for nonsquamous NSCLC — as well as broader systemic therapy approaches.
