This protocol addresses the management of hepatic adenoma (HCA) in the setting of pregnancy — a situation that requires heightened surveillance and readiness for intervention.
In the setting of pregnancy, hepatic adenomas may exhibit growth and progression. Regular monitoring is recommended throughout pregnancy, with intervention indicated when there is growth beyond a critical size threshold or when high-risk features for hemorrhagic rupture are present.
