Treatment of Localised, Grade 1 (Low-Grade) Resectable Liposarcoma of an Extremity or Superficial Trunk

This protocol covers management of patients whose liposarcoma is localised, clinically resectable, and confirmed as low-grade (grade 1) histology at a site on an extremity or the superficial trunk — a sub-population where resectability and low-grade biology are the defining factors guiding care.

Clinical Scenario

• Localised disease — no evidence of distant spread
• Clinically resectable at the primary site
• Low-grade (grade 1) histology
• Tumour located on an extremity or superficial trunk

Treatment Approach
