Treatment of Localised, Clinically Resectable High-Grade (Grade 2–3) Liposarcoma of the Extremity or Superficial Trunk

This protocol addresses the management of localised liposarcoma that is clinically resectable and classified as high-grade (grade 2–3), arising from an extremity or the superficial trunk — a specific sub-population where the interplay between surgical and adjuvant modalities is central to the treatment approach.

Localised, clinically resectable, high-grade (grade 2–3) liposarcoma of an extremity or superficial trunk. The resectable nature of the disease and the high-grade histology together define the management framework for this group.

Management of local relapse in this setting parallels the approach to primary local disease, centred on surgical resection, with broader consideration of perioperative radiation and/or systemic therapy when these have not previously been administered. The full structured regimen — including sequencing, modality selection criteria, and further details — is available in the complete protocol.
