Treatment of Limited Cutaneous Systemic Sclerosis with Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth

This protocol addresses patients with limited cutaneous systemic sclerosis (lcSSc) who also have small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO) — a recognised gastrointestinal complication in this population.

Treatment Approach

The approach to SIBO in lcSSc involves a rotational antibiotic strategy. The full selection criteria, sequencing, and clinical decision pathway are available in the complete protocol.
