Clinical Scenario

This protocol addresses patients with late latent syphilis — infection acquired at least one year previously, or where the duration of infection cannot be determined — who have no penicillin allergy. Late latent syphilis is classified as infection beyond the first year and encompasses cardiovascular and gummatous forms of the disease.

Treatment Approach
