Treatment of Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy with Left Ventricular Apical Aneurysm and Thrombus Within the Aneurysm
This protocol addresses a specific and clinically important presentation of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy: the presence of a left ventricular apical aneurysm with thrombus identified within it.
Clinical scenario
Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy with a left ventricular apical aneurysm; thrombus is present within the aneurysm. This combination calls for a targeted therapeutic strategy distinct from routine HCM management.
