Sleep disorders are common in Huntington's disease. When a patient presents with difficulties in falling asleep and/or early awakenings, a structured first-line approach is indicated.

Sleep disorders may present as difficulties in falling asleep and/or early awakenings in the middle of the night followed by insomnia.
