Treatment of Hodgkin's Lymphoma in Patients with Nodular Lymphocyte-Predominant B-Cell Lymphoma (NLPBL)
Nodular lymphocyte-predominant B-cell lymphoma (NLPBL) is a biologically distinct subtype of Hodgkin's lymphoma whose lymphoma cells characteristically express CD20. Because NLPBL behaves differently from classical Hodgkin's lymphoma, it requires a different treatment approach.
Clinical Scenario
Patients with nodular lymphocyte-predominant B-cell lymphoma (NLPBL) whose lymphoma cells express CD20. NLPBL tends to progress more slowly than classical Hodgkin's lymphoma, and the treatment approach is usually different from that used for classical HL.
Treatment Overview (Partial)
For refractory or relapsed NLPBL, second-line therapy is available — including options that leverage the CD20 expression on lymphoma cells as well as other treatment modalities. The complete regimen, full list of options, and sequencing are detailed in the structured protocol.
