Treatment of Hodgkin's Lymphoma in Nodular Lymphocyte-Predominant B-Cell Lymphoma (NLPBL) with CD20-Expressing Cells
Clinical scenario
This protocol applies to patients with nodular lymphocyte-predominant B-cell lymphoma (NLPBL) — a distinct subtype of Hodgkin's lymphoma in which the lymphoma cells express CD20.
Why NLPBL requires a different approach
NLPBL tends to progress more slowly than classical Hodgkin's lymphoma. Because of this different biological behaviour, the treatment approach for NLPBL is usually distinct from that used in classical HL.
Treatment approach — partial overview
For certain patients with early-stage NLPBL, a strategy centred on close monitoring — rather than immediate active treatment — may be appropriate. Additional options also exist depending on disease characteristics. The full protocol outlines the complete clinical algorithm, eligibility criteria, and all available approaches.
