This protocol addresses children and adolescents aged 18 years or younger diagnosed with classical Hodgkin lymphoma at high-risk presentation. High-risk is defined by any of the following stages:
Treatment in this pediatric high-risk setting centres on dose-intensive combination chemotherapy regimens, with some protocols also incorporating radiation therapy. Several combination approaches are available for this population.
A key objective is achieving a rapid early response to initial chemotherapy, assessed through systematic early-treatment response monitoring. Patients who respond quickly are classified as rapid early responders (RER).
