तीव्र HIV संक्रमण का उपचार: तत्काल एंटीरेट्रोवायरल थेरेपी
तीव्र HIV संक्रमण के लिए निदान के समय तत्काल नैदानिक कार्रवाई आवश्यक है — जिसमें वह स्थिति भी शामिल है जब सीरोलॉजिक पुष्टि प्राप्त होने से पहले HIV RNA परीक्षण द्वारा निदान स्थापित किया जाता है।
उपचार दृष्टिकोण
एंटीरेट्रोवायरल थेरेपी (ART) की तत्काल शुरुआत की सिफारिश की जाती है — आदर्श रूप से निदान के उसी दिन — सीरोलॉजिक पुष्टि की प्रतीक्षा किए बिना। पसंदीदा विकल्पों में विशिष्ट फिक्स्ड-डोज़ संयोजन रेजिमेन शामिल हैं; विकल्प भी प्रोटोकॉल के भीतर परिभाषित हैं।

उपचार लक्ष्य
प्राथमिक लक्ष्य प्लाज्मा HIV RNA को पता लगाने योग्य स्तर से नीचे दबाना है। थेरेपी की प्रतिक्रिया का मूल्यांकन ART शुरू होने के 4 सप्ताह बाद वायरल लोड परीक्षण से किया जाता है।
