This protocol addresses Henoch-Schönlein purpura in patients experiencing a recurrent purpuric skin rash. Recurrence of the characteristic purpuric lesions represents a distinct clinical challenge that calls for a structured, stepwise treatment approach.
In recurrent cases, an initial pharmacological therapy is applied first. For patients who do not respond adequately, immunosuppressive agents form the next step in the sequence. The specific agents, their order, and the criteria for escalation are defined in the full protocol.
In recurrent cases, treatment with steroid can be used as initial therapy, if not responding, mycophenolate mofetil can be considered, alternative we could use azathioprine or colchicine.
