Superficial bacterial folliculitis in which the causative organism is a staphylococcal or streptococcal species. This is a common presentation that may not resolve on its own and requires a structured antibacterial approach in selected patients.
Although superficial bacterial folliculitis often resolves spontaneously, some patients require oral antibacterial treatment. The protocol specifies a primary oral agent along with several systemic alternatives.
