Folliculitis in Demodicidosis (Demodex Parasitic Folliculitis)
This protocol addresses folliculitis arising in the context of demodicidosis — a condition in which Demodex mite infestation of the hair follicles is the underlying driver of the dermatosis.
The patient presents with folliculitis in the setting of demodicidosis — a parasitic condition in which Demodex mites colonise follicular units and provoke the inflammatory follicular process.
This dermatosis typically responds to antiparasitic therapy. Both topical and systemic antiparasitic options exist — the full structured regimen specifies which agents apply in this scenario and how they are used.
