Ewing's Sarcoma: Treatment After Relapse with a Long Disease-Free Interval

This protocol applies to a specific, well-defined subset of patients with Ewing's sarcoma who have experienced relapse following a disease-free interval of two years or more, and who subsequently achieve complete remission through second-line medical therapy, surgery, or a combination of both.

Selected patients with Ewing's sarcoma relapsing after a prolonged disease-free period (≥2 years) who reach complete remission — whether via second-line systemic therapy, surgical resection, or both — form a distinct group for whom further consolidation treatment may be appropriate.

For this select patient group, a consolidation strategy involving intensive chemotherapy may be considered — the specific eligibility criteria, regimen details, and clinical algorithm are contained in the full structured protocol.
