Este protocolo aborda la deficiencia congénita de yodo que se presenta como hipotiroidismo fetal en el contexto específico en que la propia madre es hipotiroidea — una situación clínica que determina directamente hacia dónde debe dirigirse el tratamiento.
Enfoque Clínico
Cuando la mujer embarazada es hipotiroidea, la estrategia recomendada se centra en tratar a la madre con levotiroxina (LT4) en lugar de dirigirse directamente al feto.
