Clinical Scenario

Seizures can occur in Ebola virus disease for a number of different reasons, including hypoglycaemia, sepsis, Ebola viral meningoencephalitis, intracranial haemorrhage, and underlying seizure disorder, among others. Identifying the contributing cause is an essential part of concurrent management.
