Treatment of Diabetic Neuropathy with Erectile Dysfunction in Men

Clinical Scenario

This protocol addresses male patients with diabetic neuropathy in whom diabetic autonomic neuropathy has led to erectile dysfunction (ED). In men, diabetic autonomic neuropathy may cause erectile dysfunction and/or retrograde ejaculation — a recognised complication requiring targeted management alongside diabetes care.

Treatment Approach

The first-line pharmacological approach involves a specific class of oral agents — the full structured regimen, sequencing, and additional options for more advanced cases are available in the complete protocol.
