Not all cases of cystocele require intervention. When pelvic organ prolapse is identified but the patient does not report prolapse symptoms, the clinical approach differs substantially from symptomatic presentations.
This protocol applies to women with confirmed pelvic organ prolapse in whom no prolapse-related symptoms are present. The absence of symptoms is the defining feature that shapes the management direction.
In this setting, management centres on a conservative, non-interventional strategy. The complete structured regimen — including the specific components and their sequence — is available via the link below.

For women with asymptomatic prolapse, education and reassurance are appropriate.
