Non-metastatic colon adenocarcinoma presenting as an obstructing lesion, confirmed to have proficient mismatch repair (pMMR) and microsatellite stable (MSS) status on tumour testing. The tumour is obstructing but is considered resectable.
Management is primarily surgical, with several operative strategies available depending on patient and tumour factors. Options involve colectomy as a component of care; in selected cases, an alternative initial intervention may be used before definitive surgical resection.
