Adjuvant Treatment for Resectable, Non-Metastatic pMMR/MSS Colon Adenocarcinoma
Clinical Scenario
This protocol applies to colon adenocarcinoma that is proficient in mismatch repair (pMMR) and microsatellite stable (MSS), has not spread beyond regional disease, and is both resectable and nonobstructing at the time of presentation.
pMMR / MSS
Non-metastatic
Resectable
Nonobstructing
Treatment Approach
After surgical resection, the adjuvant strategy is stratified by pathologic stage — spanning from observation in appropriately selected patients to chemotherapy-based regimens in higher-risk presentations.
Stage-specific selection criteria, regimen details, and additional pathway-guided considerations are in the complete protocol.
