Treatment of Chalazion: First-Line Conservative Management

Chalazion is a localised eyelid cyst arising from obstruction of a meibomian gland. Patients presenting for the first time are typically managed with a structured course of conservative measures before any further intervention is considered.

First-line management centres on conservative, non-invasive measures applied consistently at home. The protocol specifies both the interventions and the precise schedule that supports resolution.
