Treatment of CNS Metastases in Melanoma with BRAF Mutation and Multiple Symptomatic Brain Lesions

This protocol addresses central nervous system metastases arising from BRAF-mutated melanoma, specifically in patients presenting with multiple symptomatic brain metastases who require dexamethasone 4 mg or more.

The protocol applies to patients with melanoma harbouring a BRAF mutation who develop multiple symptomatic brain metastases. A key defining feature is the need for corticosteroid support at a dexamethasone dose of 4 mg or more, reflecting significant symptomatic burden.

Melanoma BRAF mutation Multiple symptomatic brain metastases Dexamethasone ≥ 4 mg

Eligible patients in this setting are treated with a combination targeted therapy. The full regimen — including sequencing, dosing, and management details — is available in the structured protocol below.
