Primary Budd-Chiari syndrome in the paediatric population is a rare and clinically challenging scenario. Very little data are available to guide management in children, making structured, evidence-aligned guidance especially important in this setting.
This protocol is specifically designed for children with primary Budd-Chiari syndrome. The scarcity of paediatric-specific evidence highlights the value of applying consistent, evidence-based management in this age group.
