This protocol addresses patients with confirmed Brugada syndrome who present with unexplained syncope — an episode of transient loss of consciousness without an established cause despite initial evaluation.
In patients with Brugada syndrome, unexplained syncope raises concern for an arrhythmic aetiology. Characterising the event and its mechanism is a key clinical priority before further management decisions are made.
