This protocol addresses patients with resected stage IIIA–D cutaneous melanoma whose tumour is confirmed BRAF wild-type — no BRAF V600E or V600K mutation is present. After surgical resection, these patients require structured evaluation for adjuvant systemic therapy.
In BRAF wild-type resected stage IIIA–D melanoma, evidence-based adjuvant immunotherapy with specific checkpoint inhibitor agents is the recommended path. Certain other immunotherapy options are not recommended for routine use in this setting. The full selection of agents, scheduling considerations, and guidance on which therapies to avoid are detailed in the structured protocol.
