Treatment of Accessory Breast Tissue: Axillary Fat with Mild Skin Laxity
Accessory breast tissue presenting in the axilla as predominantly fatty tissue with
mild skin laxity represents a distinct clinical grade requiring a targeted procedural
approach. The composition and degree of laxity directly inform the selection of intervention.
Clinical scenario
The axillary tissue in this case is comprised of fat with mild skin laxity, classified
as grade 2. This combination — fatty composition alongside a degree of overlying skin
looseness — places it in a category where volume reduction alone may be insufficient
and where the skin component must also be addressed.
Treatment approach
Management in this setting involves liposuction of the axilla combined with a simultaneous
energy-based technology — the specific technique and parameters are detailed in the full
protocol.
Complete regimen, device settings, and procedural algorithm available via the full protocol below.

For patients with axillary breast tissue comprised of fat with mild skin laxity, we consider
this "grade 2" (Fig. 5) and recommend energy-based technology application such as BodyTite
liposuction (InMode Aesthetic Solutions) (Table 6).
